Take Your Time is a visual-audio interactive installation that explores the experience and fluidity of time. It is implented by machine learning-based real-time face detection to track the duration of viewer engagement. As participants interact with the installation, it generates dynamic visual and auditory patterns that evolve over time. By capturing hourly screenshots, the piece creates a unique bridge between the experiences of past and present viewers. This project invites participants to reflect on the passage of time and their connection to others through an engaging and ever-changing multimedia experience.

The visual patterns in this project were created using p5.js and ml5.js, which integrate computer vision algorithms for real-time face detection. MaxMSP was also used to generate and manipulate the dynamic auditory patterns in response to the visuals.
